Bluetooth Capability: Bluetooth is included with the radio, allowing wire free operation and programming.Rugged Construction: This radio is very well built, being MIL Spec, so it should keep going long after typical ham radio units call it quits.Audio Volume: The audio from this radio will get heard, even in the noisiest environments.Audio Quality: The speaker audio is very full, with a good response to low frequencies, making it pleasing to listen to.Oklahoma v1.0 – Includes the 5 OKC Metro repeaters and recent Oklahoma contacts. Current numbers of operators should allow this on most radios but if your merging more then 2 or 3 states, then it may not be advised on all but the few radios that can handle so many contact memories. Include user contacts for each corresponding state.One goal will also try to have a naming convention that is uniform and also visually appealing on the display of the most common devices.All three primary DMR Simplex calling frequinces in a Zone of there own.Seems logical that if you want to hear things regionally that you would not want to miss someone talking locally by default. Theory being that you may want to only listen to your local area sometimes and sometimes you may want to hear everything regionaly. While Oklahoma Statewide Channel will recieve Oklahoma Statewide Talk Group and also Oklahoma Central Talk Group and Oklahoma City Metro Talk Group. Example – Oklahoma City Metro Channel will only recieve Oklahoma Metro Talk Group.

Our code plugs will be designed to have receive groups step up with level of coverage.
(Note: This is a new and ongoing project that could even use some helping hands. I am not adverse to including other system plugs like Motorola but it will require someone dedicated to making that happen. However, the state by state should work fine with the vast majority of radios that base themselves on the Connect Systems firmware. There are not many radio’s that allow so many memories so we will base our code plugs on the recommended Connect Systems Radios that in fact do.
Our goal with this project is to create a uniform set of code plugs for each state (and Canadian Province) that works on the same patterns of channel setup and also an entire code plug from coast to coast. You can find other code plugs scattered across the internet, but from my experiance they tend to be non-uniform and centered on personal geography of the programmer. This ongoing project intends to provide the best repository for DMR code plugs across North America for those that want to enjoy the mode but also travel extensivly.
